The long drying phase after the sole is removed from the mould enables the moisture contained in the hevea milk to drain away, until it has completely evaporated through thousands of channels. These channels then form small air pockets which bestow on the LACTAE HEVEA® sole its incomparable elasticity, suppleness and resistance for exceptional comfort.

Made up of small air bubbles, it is this microstructure which gives the LACTAE HEVEA® sole all its lightness, with a density of around only 0.9 g/cm3. If you put it in water, it floats!
